ESTIMATE DEPOSIT AMOUNT
An upfront deposit is required for each estimate where applicable terms apply. This deposit secures the project and initiates the procurement of materials. The amount of the deposit will be outlined in the specific project contract and may be waived or credited back upon formal contracting of the project.
---
ESTIMATE DEPOSIT vs. CONTRACT DEPOSIT
Estimate Deposits are distinct from Contract Deposits. The terms and conditions governing Estimate Deposits, including the possibility of waiving or crediting the deposit upon project contracting, will be clearly stated in the final contract.
---
FORMS OF PAYMENT
Acceptable payment methods for Estimate Deposits include cash, check, or credit card; please note that a surcharge may apply for credit card transactions.
---
CREDITS and WAIVERS
The estimate deposit will be waived for signed contracts under certain conditions, such as when the contract deposit is below a specified threshold. For contracts that meet or exceed that threshold, the estimate deposit will be credited back. It is important to note that combining or modifying estimates or contracts does not qualify for deposit waivers or credits.
